New College Durham is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative lecturer who is passionate about Art, Design, and Graphics, and is eager to share their expertise with students across a variety of programmess, including Further Education (FE), Higher Education (HE), and Bootcamps.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and or background in a relevant subject area, with a degree (or equivalent) in Art, Design, Graphics, or a closely related field. Experience working in the creative industries, education and a deep understanding of the latest design trends, digital tools, and techniques are highly desirable.
In addition to subject expertise, we are looking for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across multiple levels. The successful candidate will be able to engage students at all stages of their education, from introductory courses to more advanced creative projects, while providing clear, constructive feedback that drives student success.
Experience of teaching in a Further Education (FE) setting would be an advantage, as well as experience in Higher Education (HE). You should be comfortable working as part of a collaborative team, embracing innovation in your teaching methods, and using the latest techniques and tools to enhance the learning experience.
