Lecturer in Electrical Installation
New College Durham is a great place to work. It is a high-performing and financially outstanding college. We are continually investing in new facilities and resources to benefit our students, such as our new development, T.H.E HUB.
NCD is one of the leading Further Education colleges in the North East and continues to be at the forefront of new initiatives, being one of the few colleges in the North East to offer all the new T-Level programmes.
New College is also the lead institution for the North East Institute of Technology (NEIoT) and our University Centre has Foundation Degree awarding powers. We focus on providing training and education that creates the best outcomes for our students, giving them the edge in their chosen industry.
Due to significant growth in learner enrolments for 2024/25, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and committed Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our successful Electrical Installation team.
We welcome candidates with a passion for coaching, mentoring or teaching. A commitment to supporting development and achievement is essential. Our experienced team are looking for a lecturer to motivate students and celebrate their success. Therefore, candidates must be passionate about working with and inspiring our learners. We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including those seeking to enter the education profession. This role will involve a combination of theory and practical-based sessions. Applicants will need to have a firm understanding of current electrical practices, due to the complex and technical nature of the Electrical Installation programmes.
