Supply Pool - Tutors for Business Development

Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring learners in the Health & Social Care and Education sectors? We are looking for a qualified and motivated Supply Pool Tutors to join our dynamic and expanding Business Development team.

Following another successful year, our team is growing – and this is your opportunity to be part of that success. This flexible role will see you travelling across the North East to deliver short courses, workshops, and Level 2 and 3 Care Diplomas, as well as providing tailored support to learners to help them achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Short Courses and Workshops: Design and deliver engaging short courses and workshops, tailored to the needs of learners in Health & Social Care and Education.

  • Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 Care Diplomas: Provide high-quality training that is practical, relevant, and aligned to industry standards.

  • Support Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring learners receive the best possible experience.

  • Assess and Provide Feedback: Carry out assessments and provide constructive feedback to guide learners’ progress and development.

  • Maintain Learner Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of progress, assessments, and outcomes.

  • Adapt to Learner and Sector Needs: Be flexible in delivery style, curriculum requirements, and environments to meet the changing needs of learners.

  • Collaborate with a Growing Team: Work closely with colleagues to share best practice, support consistency, and contribute to the continued success of our growing department.


Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Qualifications

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).

  • IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification.

  • Level 2/3 Care Diplomas (or equivalent) or substantial sector experience.


Experience

  • Proven experience in delivering training or education, particularly in care-related, Early Years, or education-based subjects.

  • Experience in assessing learners and supporting progression.


Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to engage learners and deliver content clearly and effectively.

  • Organisational skills to manage assessments, feedback, and paperwork.

  • Knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and current teaching best practices.


Working Conditions:

  • Hours: Flexible, with a mix of planned sessions and short-notice teaching opportunities.

  • Location: Across the North East, working in educational settings, community venues, and employer sites, with some virtual delivery.
