Supply Pool - School of Creative and Service Industries (Music, Media and Performing Arts)

Are you a creative professional or educator ready to shape the future of the industry? Whether you’re seeking flexible teaching opportunities, one-off guest lectures, or a chance to influence curriculum development, we invite you to join our Creative Supply Pool from September 2025.

We are looking for dynamic and creative individuals to join our supply pool for Performing Arts, delivering across a range of practical and theoretical modules from Level 2 to Level 5, Music Professionals who can support delivery across Levels 2 to 5 in both performance and production and media specialists to support delivery across a wide range of courses from Level 2 to Level 6.

Music - 
Courses include: 

  • Level 2 Diploma in Music Industry Skills 

  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music or Music Production 

  • FdA Roots & Popular Music 

  • Ba (Hons) Popular Music 


Typical duties include: 

  • Teaching practical music performance, production, theory, context and songwriting 

  • Supporting students in ensemble work, solo performance, and industry-based projects 

  • Covering planned and ad hoc teaching sessions across FE and HE modules 

  • Contributing to rehearsals and recording sessions as needed 

  • Providing timely written and verbal formative and summative feedback in line with departmental standards 


We are looking for candidates who: 

  • Are experienced performers, producers or educators with a relevant practical and theoretical background in music 

  • Can deliver sessions using DAWs (Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools), and/or teach musical theory, context, composition, or live performance 

  • Are confident working with a broad range of learners and musical styles/instruments 

  • Are responsive, punctual, and supportive of learners in a vocational environment 


Performing Arts - 
Courses include: 

  • Level 2 Diploma in Performing & Production Arts Industry Skills 

  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice 

  • FdA Performance Practice 


Typical duties include: 

  • Delivering classes in acting, movement, voice, ensemble work, or devising 

  • Supporting rehearsals, public performance projects, and audition preparation 

  • Providing short- or medium-term cover for core sessions, workshops, or production blocks 

  • Assisting with contextual modules and professional development content 

  • Providing timely written and verbal formative and summative feedback in line with departmental standards 


We are looking for candidates who: 

  • Have practical industry experience in theatre, screen, or live performance 

  • Can teach one or more disciplines: acting, voice, movement, dance, or directing 

  • Are confident working with young performers in both FE and HE settings 

  • Can respond to the varied needs of a performance timetable and high-expectation environment 

Media - 
Courses include: 

  • Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Skills 

  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice 

  • FdA Film & Media Production 

  • BA (Hons) Film & Media Enterprise (Top-Up) 


Typical duties include: 

  • Delivering practical sessions in photography, filmmaking, editing, and audio production 

  • Supporting students through live client briefs, enterprise modules, and project work 

  • Contributing to academic and technical sessions from classroom workshops to studio delivery 

  • Providing cover for short-term absence, planned leave, or module-specific needs 

  • Providing timely written and verbal formative and summative feedback in line with departmental standards 


We are looking for candidates who: 

  • Have practical experience in at least one area of media production, including, but not limited to, camera work (stills and moving image), editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve), and audio workflows 

  • Understand industry expectations and can deliver inspiring, up-to-date content 

  • Are confident teaching and supporting learners across further and higher education 

  • Are organised, adaptable, and able to step into dynamic learning environments at short notice

Additional Information: 

  • Supply roles are casual and flexible, based on curriculum demand 

  • Enhanced DBS clearance and right to work in the UK are required 

  • Induction and curriculum briefings provided before any teaching 

  • Opportunities may arise to lead on workshops or longer-term projects
